MYCO wins Considerate Constructors Leading Light Award for Wellbeing Programme

Hot on the heels of our recent award for our CSR initiatives, we are proud to announce the team at MYCO has received a further award and recognition for our wellbeing programme from the Considerate Constructors Leading Lights Awards 2023.

Recognising exceptional sites, organisations and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment in the areas of Community, Environment and Workforce, the Leading Lights Awards celebrate all those who have gone above and beyond in making a significant contribution to the construction industry.

This year saw a ground-breaking number of entries received and we are delighted to have received the Physical Wellbeing award in the Organisational category for activity producing, maintaining, and successfully implementing a health wellbeing programme. The judges commented:

“MYCO have launched a new wellbeing health check to empower its employees to take an active role in their health and wellbeing. Identifying a gap in the health service with people struggling to access support following the pandemic, the company engaged with Pro-Active Wellbeing, a leading healthcare provider, to launch an occupational health check for its employees and workers across its supply chain. The checks detect early signs of potential issues or risks, allowing individuals to take the necessary preventive measures and avoid more serious conditions. The initiative has been an overwhelming success and has led to an increase in employee satisfaction, morale and engagement”
